We bought Bertie our VW Splitscreen Camper in 2000 and since then he has been through a full restoration from the ground up and has also seen many modifications. He was transformed from the all over Dove Blue paint colour to the two tone paint colours you see today.

We have been part of the VW community attending many of the UK's VW events and still do so today. 

Having moved to Devizes, Wiltshire in 2017, we decided to dip our toes into the world of Wedding transport. In early 2018 Bertie the Bus wedding car service was born.

We have been amazed at how popular Bertie has become as a wedding bus and we have enjoyed working alongside other wedding cars and meeting so many Brides, Grooms, Bridesmaids, Best men and Best women, along with all their families and friends.

This has also lead to us visiting many of the amazing award winning wedding venues available throughout Wiltshire, Hampshire, Gloucestershire and beyond.

Here's what we can bring to your special day when you hire a VW Wedding Bus 

• A smart knowledgeable chauffeur to help you feel at ease on your big day

• Excellent time keeping, normally arriving earlier than needed whilst upholding some long standing traditions

• A cheerful polite and courteous demeanour throughout

• Three hours service from the first pickup point

• Wedding transport that covers a 30 mile radius from our home town of Devizes (an additional fee may be required for further mileage)

• FREE hand-tied ribbons and bows to match the colour theme of your choice

• FREE chilled bottles of water for those hot summer days

• Bottles of bubbly etc can be supplied at cost

• Personalised ribbons with your names and wedding date supplied at cost

• A full display of Bertie at your wedding venue along with props to aid your photographer to capture those amazing memories to cherish

With seating for up to five passengers in the back with room for another up front if needed, there's plenty of options something that other wedding cars may not offer.

If your pick up address is within 15 minutes of your wedding venue, then Bertie can be used to ferry between the two which adds great value for money. For greater numbers, we can arrange for additional wedding transport through our well established contacts with their own VW wedding bus  (subject to availability and additional fees).
